The Summit Foundation has been set up as a charitable conduit with the following objectives:-

To make distributions for the relief of poverty, including the enhancement of healthcare and the support of education to the disadvantaged. 

Although not restricted to, it is intended that donations and sponsorships are likely to be targeted at the needy in South Africa and Latin America.
 

	The initial funding of the Foundation was set up by Summit Money Management (Bermuda) Ltd at the request of Charlie and Jan Aitken in late 2003.
	Future funding of the Foundation will be achieved by voluntary donations and by the generosity of Summit Money Management (Bermuda) Ltd. and its clients, through the gifting of part of the company's fee income received by investments that are placed under its management.
	An amount equating to 25% of the initial charge will be donated to The Summit Foundation.	Initial Charge Rates
